Hey there, I’m a cofounder and creative director based in Brooklyn, NY. I grew up in Maui and Southern California spending my days surfing, climbing, fishing, and backpacking. The great outdoors is where I find peace, draw creative inspiration from, and what ultimately led me to starting my first company: Rooted.
After graduating from Art Center College of Design, I got my creative feet wet at agencies like Droga5, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and 72&Sunny. Since then, I’ve founded and exited a few companies of my own—Rooted (DTC) and Plantboy (SaaS). Currently working on creating the first-ever surf paddle trainer for dry land called Basis.
As an entrepreneur, I’ve had to wear a whole lotta hats over the years—from being a business owner, producer, writer, and social media manager to leading teams, managing external partners, doing the VC investor dance, serving as a creative director across multiple brands, and even being a farmer. But now I’m ready to hang up a few hats to focus solely on being creative, lending what I’ve learned to help others bring their vision to life.
